    Too much fat!

    18th January 2009

    Too much fat!

In my first week P.T. (Personal Trainer) had me writing a food diary, He analysed the nutritional values of what I was eating and found I was eating the right amount of protein, but not enough carbohydrates and too much fat! Apparently I never eat my maximum calorie allowance in a day but, because I’m eating too much fat, I don’t lose any weight.

This week I have to start eating fruit, which I’m not a huge fan of, and drinking more water; I don’t drink enough. I’m not having butter on my bread anymore and I’m only allowed one coffee and one glass of diet coke a day.

I notice from looking at my food diary that most of the time I’m eating junk food is when I’m bored, I kind of knew this anyway but it was a wake up call to see it down on paper.

So far P.T. and I are still friends but that may just be because he hasn’t cut chocolate out completely – yet! Watch this space.

    My New Years Resolution

    12th January 2009

    My New Years Resolution

This year I am determined to get my dream body! I’ve been promising myself for years that I would get fit and stop eating rubbish, and now’s the time.

So I’ve got myself a personal trainer who’s going to help me with my nutrition and weight management, and once we’ve got that sorted we’ll start working on a fitness plan.

This week he’s got me writing a diary of everything I eat and drink along with how I’m feeling and how hungry I am each time I eat. Hopefully I won’t be in too much trouble when he notices the amount of chocolate entries there are!

I like the idea of having a personal trainer because that way I don’t have to worry about calorie counting or wondering why my weight’s not budging. He understood exactly what I want from my new health plan and he’s also really good-looking, which I think is going to help :D
