Tricep Stretch - Preparatory Stretching

The tricep stretch focuses on the back of the upper arm and stretches the tricep muscle. The Tricep Stretch can be performed as a preparatory stretch and held for 8 to 10 seconds.

Instructions

Starting from a normal standing position.

Straighten an arm vertically and bend at the elbow to place your arm down the back of your head.

Place your arm along the line of your spine.

With your other arm, reach across and apply pressure on the flexed arm.

Keep your back straight.

Progression: Apply more pressure to stretched arm.
