Circulatory System

The function of the circulatory system is to carry blood to all parts of the body. Blood is the medium by which oxygen is provided to all the structures, and carbon dioxide is removed.

The circulatory system can be divided into two parts:

The systemic systems moves blood between the heart and the body tissues other than the lungs.

The pulmonary system moves blood between the heart and the lungs.
