Seated Deltoid Stretch

The seated deltoid stretch focuses on the shoulders and stretches the deltoid and tricep muscles. The Seated Deltoid Stretch can be performed as a maintenance stretch and should be held for 10 to 15 seconds.

The Deltoid Stretch focuses on the shoulders. The Deltoid and Tricep muscles are stretched.

Instructions

  • Starting from a seated position.
  • Bring your arm horizontally across your body.
  • Keep a little bit of flex in the elbow.
  • With your other arm, place your hand on the back of the upper arm and pull the arm across the body.

Progression: Apply more pressure to the stretched arm.
